\ndepends on you. \u00a0If you buy the cheapest fan you can find and leave it in the middle of the field, I would say \u201cno\u201d not so well. If you follow instructions carefully you will see a dramatic change on your property over night.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>A.\u00a0<\/b>Skeeterbag™ does not use bait in terms of adding bait to your property. \u00a0Your property has mosquitoes in the first place because it has\u00a0natural bait on it, e.g. you, your family, your dog, horse, goat, open\u00a0window, breezy underside of trailer, open well cap, screen door etc.\u00a0Skeeterbag™ products simply wait in ambush for mosquitoes to do\u00a0what they do, search for blood and water. \u00a0It\u2019s like poaching or catching\u00a0criminals in the act.<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0Is a fan included with the Skeeterbag™?<\/strong>
\nA.<\/b>\u00a0No, a box fan can be purchased in most stores or online.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>A.<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Almost every 20\u2033 fan on the market is made the same way but one. \u00a0With\u00a0that one fan the screws that hold the grill in place are in the corners, not\u00a0inset a few inches like the rest of the fans on the market. \u00a0Avoid those\u00a0fans because they are a pain to fit Skeeterbag™ and they are noisy as\u00a0they could be. \u00a0The best fans are usually more expensive and call\u00a0themselves, \u201chigh volume or premium\u201d and have a deep scoop to their\u00a0fan blades. \u00a0Older fans usually have larger motors (pull those fans out of\u00a0the shed, they will run forever).<\/p>\n

Q. \u00a0How many acres does\u00a0Skeeterbag™\u00a0cover?
\n<\/strong>A.<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0That depends. \u00a0Basically SB will catch mosquitoes from as far away\u00a0as they are willing to fly to you and your animals. So, it is effective\u00a0against any mosquito that is a problem to you or your animals.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>A.<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Sidney Louis McCarty IV, to battle the mosquito problem that\u00a0snowballed out of control when he and his wife started raising puppies\u00a0along with their wetland tree nursery. \u00a0Mark Valentine invented the\u00a0universal attachment rod system and designed the product.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>A.<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0With the fan on, unhook the top attachment rod and turn the bag\u00a0inside out so that the wind blows across the inside of the bag. \u00a0With one\u00a0hand under the bag tap the dead mosquitoes off the fabric and into the\u00a0wind. \u00a0A dry paintbrush works well for knocking the dust out of the mesh.\u00a0The best time to empty the bag is mid-day after the night\u2019s catch has\u00a0dehydrated to death.<\/p>\n

Q. \u00a0How close to the animal does\u00a0Skeeterbag™\u00a0need to be?
\n<\/strong>A.<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0The closer the trap the faster the catch. \u00a0Mosquitoes begin\u00a0accelerating toward the trap at about six feet. \u00a0At two feet mosquitoes are\u00a0gone in a streak. \u00a0A dog in a kennel will catch more mosquitoes faster\u00a0than a horse in a stall, but with traps running 24\/7 they all get close\u00a0enough eventually. \u00a0Mosquitoes have erratic flight patterns when around\u00a0animals and people which guarantees that on a long enough time line\u00a0the eventually all get close enough to the fan to get sucked up. Sooner\u00a0or later mosquitoes will find themselves on the wrong side of the stall.<\/p>\n
